3. Eligibility Criteria
To maintain the highest standards, we require:
Formal Islamic credentials (Ijazah or equivalent certification) and at least 3 years of experience officiating Nikah ceremonies.
Deep familiarity with at least one major madhhab (Hanafi, Shafi‘i, Maliki, Hanbali, etc.).
Fluent communication in English plus proficiency in at least one other language (e.g., Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Turkish, French).
Strong digital literacy and willingness to learn our secure video platform.
Upholding of professional conduct, confidentiality, and strict adherence to Shariah guidelines.
4. Partner Responsibilities
Ceremony Officiation: Lead the online Nikah according to Shariah, including proposal (ijab), acceptance (qabul), witness verification, khutbah, and dua.
Availability: Maintain an up-to-date calendar of available slots; commit to punctuality and pre-ceremony preparation calls.
Documentation Review: Confirm and sign the digital Nikahnama accurately, ensuring all terms (mahr, conditions) are recorded.
Community Engagement: Optional participation in Q&A webinars, blog contributions on marriage guidance, and mentor-style “Ask the Scholar” sessions.
5. Application Process
Submit Your Profile: Complete our online scholar application form with personal details, certifications, language skills, and a brief video introduction.
Credentials Verification: Provide scanned copies of your Ijazah, certification letters, and a list of at least 5 past Nikah ceremonies you’ve officiated.
Interview & Demo: Schedule a video interview with our Partnership Team, including a mock ceremony demo to assess your style and technical readiness.
Onboarding & Training: Upon acceptance, attend a two-hour virtual orientation covering platform navigation, best practices for online officiation, and client-care guidelines.
6. Training & Ongoing Support
Platform Tutorials: Guided sessions on using our encrypted video rooms, ceremony flow tools, and digital contract system.
Resource Library: Access sermon outlines, khutbah templates, du‘ā compilations, and a repository of terminologies in multiple languages.
